Studio Manager | Dell Technologies | Round Rock, TX

Manage daily operations for C-level executive studio for Dell Technologies. Responsible for scheduling, pre-production of executive communications, and studio operations including camera work, lighting, audio, and post-production, paying close attention to brand and legal compliance. Manage all studio equipment inventory, purchases, and updates.

Produce various annual and quarterly projects. An annual event example is the Formula One, US Grand Prix employee appreciation event, an over 3000-person live event with image magnification in the Moody Center basketball stadium at the University of Texas. Have worked over 4 years as segment producer of the Quarterly Business Report with multiple executive speakers, which is shot on location, in studio, and/or by Zoom.

Coordinated and implemented full executive studio re-design in 2019 replacing a hard set with a modular set, optimizing the studio for green screen, and upgrading from HD to 4k. Researched specs and upgraded lighting to accommodate the green screen. Designed movable practical background in conjunction with the Brand design team.

NOV 2011- AUG 2019

Producer | Dell Technologies | Round Rock TX  

From 2012 to 2016, produced product videos for Dell’s enterprise portfolio including servers, storage, and networking. Product videos appear on the product description pages of Dell.com.

Producer of lifestyle b-roll for use as stock footage for all of Dell. This included location scouting, crewing, and local equipment transportation.

Moved to the executive studio in 2016. Responsible for production and editing work as a part of the executive studio team including both internal and external executive communications. Took over managing the executive studio in 2019.

June 2010- Nov 2011

Producer | Liaison Resources | Austin TX

Hands-on video producer under contract with Dell Computers creating end-to-end videos for Dell’s storage, product marketing including product, event, and internal communications.

Established a style of customer-facing videos for Dell Storage products used to increase visibility of Dell’s storage portfolio on social media, publishing to YouTube and LinkedIn.

OCT 2000- June 2010

Freelance video producer and editor. Clients included Dell, British Gas, Dow Chemical, Toyota, The University of Texas School of Law, Baylor College of Medicine, and others.
